Kehlenn, The Crooked Queen
Kehlenn once ruled as the Fey Green Queen to Druskenvald before it became the harrowing realm it is today. It was once an enormous forest, teeming with "green magic" that facilitated the natural cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Mortal souls would journey here to be reincarnated as plants, animals, and other natural beings that would live a short and brutal life.
She was a guardian to this natural order and believed in the sanctity of the cycle, where each death brought forth new life, and the essence of the departed merged with vibrant flora and fauna.
This peaceful demiplane would be corrupted by Phillip Druskenvald. He no longer remembers where he came from or how he discovered the realm of rebirth. All that matters now is once his influence had spread, Kehlenn became nothing more but a hollow shell of what she once was. Now known as the Crooked Queen, she retreated into the deepest and darkest wood (Wytchwood) within Wickermoor Hollow , the only province free from the eyes and control of Phillip and the Crescent Court.
She lingers nearly dormant, after eons of slumbering in a near deathlike stasis, waiting to reclaim her domain. She slowly reabsorbed the power of the land surrounding her, the valley now known as Wickermoor Hollow, draining Phillip of his power without his knowledge. Through her bitterness, she whispers the words of the Old Ways to those who will listen. Monsters and creatures that were not shaped by nature of their provinces have been made bent and crooked by the hateful spite of the Crooked Queen.
Kehlenn seeks to take revenge on Phillip and the people he rules over. She plots toward the disintegration of all sapient beings into nature and the annihilation and crooked rebirth of the world she had been robbed of.
