The wife of Phillip Druskenvald who rules alongside him as a reminder of the responsibility to help the people across the thirteen provinces. She was born a mortal woman that experienced paranormal experiences and prophetic visions in her youth that led her to discover immense powers of divination and create a strong connection to the spiritual world. Her curiosity led her to the Ghostlight Express where she met Phillip and the two fell in love at first sight. They quickly married and she is now immortal and enjoying the endless youth by seeking every new and exciting experience she could find.

While Adela has an exceptional gift of second sight, she doubts her own abilities and will often misinterpret her visions. Despite this anxiety and her cheerful, almost ditzy demeanor, there is reason to believe that she is far more craft, calculating, and deliberate than she lets on.
